New Baby Pop Up

Welcome My Crafty Friends,

hoping that you are all staying safe and healthy during these trying times.

Today I have another Karen Burniston Surprise Pop Up Ball card for you. My card was created using Boel Ask's card which she posted March 1, 2020.   These pop up balls are addicting.

Have tried several times to upload the video for this but it will not upload - sorry!  You can see it on Facebook - Karen Burniston Pop-Up Peeps page.

Made 2 Surprise Pop Up Balls from flesh colored cardstock.  Karen Burniston has a great assembly video for making the ball.

For the arms I drew and fussy cut from flesh colored cardstock I did single layer but another time I would double up to make them a little sturdier.

For the feet I actually had cut out a baby from flesh colored cardstock then  cut the lower half attach to bottom ball.

For the diaper decorative pieces were cut from white cardstock then attached around the bottom attach a small safety pin to 1 piece add that to center front of bottom half of bottom ball.

Bib was cut from light blue cardstock on Cricut then trimmed up.  Small heart was attached to center then attached to center top of bottom ball.

Pacifier was created using a couple of circle dies from light and medium blue cardstock.  Attached using dimensional dots.

Hair was created using wool roving.

Words were cut twice from cardstock with Clear Double Sided Adhesive on the back - once from white once from medium blue.  Adhered blue first then added white offsetting just a little to give shadow effect.

I do hope that this is an inspiration for you to try making a Surprise Pop Up card - there are so many great designs on Karen Burniston Pop Up Peep Facebook Page.

I have linked below dies and other supplies I have used if you click on an item it will take you to the site I do make a small commission but it does not cost you anything extra.

Thanks for stopping by and until next time - Happy Crafting!

Christine
