Button Mums and Autumn Hydrangea

Welcome my crafty friends hope you are all staying safe.

Today I have a card I designed using Susan's brand new release Autumn Flora Button Mums and Autumn Hydrangea through Spellbinders. Another fantastic release from Susan I just love working with her dies.

My card today is a 6" X 6" tent fold created from white cardstock.

Patterned paper from my stash was used for background cut 5-3/4" X 5-3/4" adhered to card front using clear double sided adhesive.

Amazing Paper Grace Picot Petite Circle was cut from white cardstock using largest die in set. Circled was adhered to card front using clear double sided adhesive.

Two Button Mums were cut from white cardstock then colored with Copic Markers then shaped and assembled. I used Susan's old tools to shape my flowers but she has great new set coming out it should be available by January 2021.

Off white cardstock and Distress Oxide Inks were used to color florets. I picked 3 or 4 colors that I wanted in my hydrangea and smeared in various areas on the cardstock both front and back leaving areas here and there off white. Florets were then die cut from this paper several times (I would rather have left over than to run out) then shaped and assembled. Susan is doing YouTube videos for each die set in the release her hydrangea video is here

Foliage & Ladybug die set was used to make the Berry Branch and and Eucalyptus. I cut 2 Berry Branches from green cardstock adhere them together with Art Glitter Glue. Green ink was used to shade then Nuvo Drops Plum Pudding was used to make berries which I put on both sides so I add berries to one side set aside to dry then do the other side. I always do my berries branches first so they will have time to dry well. Lady bug was cut from white cardstock colored with red Copic Marker black head, dots added with fine point pen and shaped with medium ball stylus. Two Eucalyptus branches were cut from green cardstock shaded with green ink and a bit of rusty red PanPastels was added to base of leaves I then shaped the leaves using a ball stylus.

Beacons Kids Choice Glue was used to add everything to card front starting with Berry Branch, Eucalyptus, Hydrangea, Mums, leaves and of course the Ladybug.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today I do hope it has inspired you to create. Until next time Happy Crafting!
