Parrot Tulips with Lily of the Valley

 Hello My Crafty Friends,

Today it is my turn again to post a card using Susan's new Spring Floral Collection from Spellbinders - I have chosen to us Parrot Tulips and again the Lily of the Valley.

Card base is 6 X 6  pattern paper 5-3/4 X 5-3/4 adhered to card front using clear double sided adhesive. (My paper is one that I bought download from Etsy and printed myself).  All edges aged using Distress Ink - Vintage Photo.

Two ovals were cut using Spellbinders Picot Petite Ovals 2nd and 3rd size in set age edges.  Add largest in center of card front using clear double sided adhesive then add smaller oval.

The bottle was created by 1st cutting a large bottle on a die cutting machine (Cricut used here) then use as a pattern to trace onto Shrink Film and fussy cut.  Copic marker was used to color back side to give green bottle look.  Bake in oven as directed on film packaging.  Kids Choice Glue was applied to very edge of sides and bottom but not top.

I used Parrot Tulip and Lily of the Valley from Susan's Garden Club new Spring Floral Release.  I used Susan's Specialty Cardstock for my flowers leaves and stems cut from green cardstock.  Susan's has done YouTube videos for all flowers in her new release they should be up shortly.  She also did these 2 flowers on her Facebook Live today which can be found here

Using Kids Choice Glue adhere your flowers and leaves to card front.  I started with leaves and Lily of the Valley putting stems down inside bottle (I even cut a couple extra stems to stick down in).

Lady bug was cut using die from Susan's Fall Floral Foliage & Lady Bug Set colored with Copic .

Thank you for stopping by today hope that I have inspired you to go create your own card.

Products linked below if you click on them it will take you to site to purchase at no extra cost to you but I make a small commission to help defray my costs - thanking you in advance!

Until next time - Happy Crafting !

Christine
