Sweet Pea Diamond Easel

 Hello my fellow paper gardeners,

Today it is my turn again to post a card today for Susan's Garden Club Spellbinders Design Team.  I decided I better do something other than the sweet little Lily of the Valley so I  have chosen to do a card with Sweet Peas ivy and fern from Susan's new Spring Flora Release.

My card today is a diamond easel card which Susan did on her Facebook Live - Susan's Garden Club which you can find here.  This card is a fun and easy card to create.

Create card base and add printed cardstock.

Mason jar was created using shrink film.  Cricut was used to cut a mason jar pattern from cardstock then traced onto shrink film and then fussy cut by hand.  blue Copics marker was used to color back side of jar then using instructions on the shrink film packaging shrink.  Small jute twin was wrapped around top of jar and a little Bearly Art Precision Glue added to end to hold.  Create a bow from same jute and adhere to jar front.

Cut 5 Sweet Peas from Susan's Specialty Cardstock colored with Copic markers shaped with Susan's Garden Ultimate Tool Kit  and built using Kids Choice Glue.  Leaves were cut from green cardstock shaded and shaped.  Susan has a YouTube video for creating Sweet Pea which can be found here.
Green cardstock was used for the Ivy and Fern from Susan's Spring Flora Release - 3 each were die cut shaded and shaped using Susan's Garden Ultimate Tool Kit.

Once card is complete add mason jar by adding Kids Choice Glue along just edge of both sides and bottom to card front (unfortunately my jar doesn't show up well on the dark paper)  then arrange bouquet to card front using Kids Choice Glue.

I do hope that I have inspired you to create your own card.

thanks for stopping by and until next time - Happy Crafting!

Christine
