Peony "W" Fold Birthday Card

Welcome my creative friends,

Today I have for you a "W" Fold card decorated with Susan's Garden Club Double Peony, Lily of the Valley, Eucalyptus and Lady Bug arranged on Spellbinders Doily Round by Becca Feeken Amazing Grace.

Card base was cut from 110# white  cardstock 6" X 12" scored and folded at 6".
"W" fold piece was cut from same cardstock 2-1/2" X 12" scored at 3", 6" and 9" fold on score lines making the 6" score line a mountain fold and the other 2 scores valley folds.
Cut 3 pc of coordinating cardstock 5-3/4" square adhere using clear double sided adhesive to card front and 2 pieces for inside of card.  Cut 3 pieces of patterned paper 5-1/2" square adhere to card front and inside using clear double sided adhesive.

Using Red Line Tape (for added security) on 2 outer sections line up with edge of card and adhere "W" folded piece of cardstock to inside of card.  Cut 4 pieces of cardstock 2-3/4" X 3-1/2".  Cut 2 pieces of white cardstock 2-1/2" X 3-1/4" and cut 2 pieces of patterned paper in same size.  Adhere these pieces to green cardstock using clear double sided adhesive.  On the 2 white ones stamp your sentiment - you could even leave one blank to write your own message.  Attach to each 3" section leaving a small border I staggered mine but you can keep all the same level if you prefer.

For card front Spellbinders Doily Round was cut from white cardstock.  Using just the outer die cut from black cardstock  adhere the white doily piece to black piece using Bearly Glue liquid adhesive.  Use dimensional tape on back adhere to card front.

Susan's Garden Club Double Peony and Lily of the Valley was cut from Susan Garden Club Specialty Paper and all the leaves, stems, ladybug and eucalyptus are cut from green cardstock.  All were colored and shaded then shaped using Susan's Garden Club Tool Kit.  Susan has videos on YouTube for creating these.

I do hope I have inspired you to go create your own "W" fold card it really is easy and of course the flowers are so rewarding to create.

Thanks for stopping by and until next time - Happy Crafting!

Christine
