Double Z Breast Cancer Survivor
Hello Crafty Friends,
As you all know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month - ladies get your mammograms!!! For the last several years I have made cards for Breast Cancer Survivor cards choosing different recipients each year classmates, friends and co-workers. This year I have 5 (maybe 6) I am doing and this card is the first.
My card today is a Double Z Card which is really fun and simple to create. Susan did it on her "live" on Susan's Garden Club which can be found here.
Here are your paper cuts and score lines for card base and layers for my card.
White cardstock - (1) 6" X (" scored at 3" and 6"
(1) 4-1/2" X 9" scored at 3: & 6"
(2) 2" X 3-1/4"
Patterned Paper - (1) 5-3/4" square
(2) 2-3/4" X 5-3/4"
(2-3/4" X 4-1/4"
Card base was assembled using Clear Double Sided Adhesive. Any sentiments should be stamped before assembling. ( My Sentiment was from stamp set I got several years ago from Ellen Hutson - Essentials by Ellen Courage Stamp & Die Set. Part of the proceeds went to Breast Cancer Research Foundation.)
From white cardstock oval was cut using Spellbinders Candlewick Ovals set and Radiant Oval was used for center oval. Pattern paper was cut using just the plan oval die in Radiant Oval set then attached together.
Pink ribbon was stamped on white cardstock then die cut. Close to My Heart Ribbon Warrior Stamp & Thin Cuts (Z4184) was used for that. Adhered to center panel using Clear sided Double Adhesive.
Susan's Garden Hibiscus, Oriental Lilies, Berry Branch and Ladybug were created to adorn the oval. Susan's Specialty Paper and Deluxe Tool Kit were used to create them. Susan has how to YouTube videos that will guide you in creating these.
I have products linked below that will take you directly to site to purchase. Please note it is no extra cost to you it only gives me a small commission to help cover my costs. Thanking you in advance for any thing you may decide to purchase.
Thank you for stopping by today and I truly hope I have given you inspiration to create your own card and to GO GET THOSE MAMMOGRAMS!!!
Until next time - Happy Crafting!!!
Christine
