Ornamental Kale & Autumn Hydrangea

Hello my crafty friends!

It has been a while I have been very busy out in my yard.  Weather here in Central Maine has been crazy and our summer season is short.

Today I have a card for you that features one of Spellbinders Susan's Garden newest release Snow Garden the SDS-187 Ornamental Kale / Cabbage along with S4-1073 Autumn Hydrangea from the Autumn Flora Collection and S4-1113 Winter Berry from Holiday Collection.

Card Base - 6" X 6" tent fold

Pink mat cut 5-3/4" X 5-3/4" adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.

White mat cut 5-1/2" X 5-1/2" then embossed using Creative Expressions EF3D-056 Honeycomb Trellis embossing folder.  Mat adhered to card front Clear Double Sided Adhesive.

The black medallion was cut from black cardstock using Spellbinders S5-431 Picot Petite Circles and adhered to card front using dimensional tape.

Ornamental Kales was cut from Spellbinders Susan's Garden Specialty Paper colored with Olo Markers.  They were shaped using Spellbinders Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit  and assembled using Susan's YouTube instructions found here.

Two Autumn Hydrangeas were cut from Spellbinders Susan's Garden Specialty Paper that I had rubbed several colors of Distress Ink on (front and back of paper).  The leaves and bases for hydrangea were cut from green cardstock.  All were shaped using Spellbinders Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit and assembled using Susan's YouTube video for guidance which can be found here.

Winterberry was cut from green cardstock then shaded and shaped.  See Susan's YouTube video found here.  Note:  I use the little Styrofoam balls colored with alcohol ink instead of the Nuvo Drops.

I do hope you have enjoyed my post today and that I have inspired you to create your own card.

Thanks for stopping by and until next time - Happy Crafting!
