Wedded Bliss

Hello my crafty friends,

Hope all of you are doing well.  I know I haven't posted much but still busy in the yard.  Winter is long here so want to get as much outside time in before the cold and snow.

Today I have a wedding card that I created for our nephew and his bride.  It was a beautiful wedding (in spite of all the rain) very emotional but full of love.

My card today is a 5' X 7"

Card base is burgundy cardstock (one of the colors in the wedding).

Mat 1 is white glittered cardstock cut using an old Spellbinder die S-005  5" X 7" Elegant Labels 4 largest die and adhered to card front using Bearly Art Glue.  Second mat was using same die set but next to largest die and white cardstock attached to card front using dimensional tape.

Spellbinders Susan's Garden has a new release called Birds & Bees which I have used for my floral arrangement.  I chose the Pom Pom Dahlia S4-1317  cut from Susan's Specialty Paper, colored, shaped with Susan's Ultimate Tool Kit and assembled using Kids Choice Glue.  Susan has a YouTube Video for creating these wonderful flowers which you can find here.

Foliage is from the Autumn Foliage S4-1320 in the Birds & Bees Collection and Susan has a video to create these found here.

Berry Branch is from Autumn Flora Collection Foliage & Ladybug S4-1079 and I used the Styrofoam balls for the berries.

Floral bouquet was arranged on card front and attached using Kids Choice Glue.

Sentiment is an old Close to My Heart stamp set that I stamped in black ink onto white cardstock and die cut.  It was attached using dimensional tape and half pearls were attached on each end.

For the inside I used the same die set to cut white piece stamped it in black ink using another old Close to My Heart stamp set.  Attached to card using Bearly Art Glue.

I hope that this has inspired you to make your own card.  This card can be used for many different occasions by just changing sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by today and until next time - Happy Crafting!

Christine
