Survivor Slimline
Hi my crafty friends!
Today I have a "Survivor card I created. It is another slimline card adorned with Susan's Garden flowers. Embossing folder is Spellbinders 3D slimline embossing folder.
White 110# cardstock cut 8" X 9" scored at 4" folded in half. Designer paper ( I used Mintay Peony Garden MT-PEO-02 ) cut 3-3/4" X 8-3/4" and adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive. White embossed mat was cut from white card stock 3" X 8" embossed (sorry it has no info on it other than E3D-087 which does not show up on Spellbinder site). Once embossed it was adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.
Susan's Garden Arrow Wood Viburnum S3-516 from Winters Grace Release, Pom Pom Dahlia S4-1317 from Birds & Bees release and Queen Anne's Lace S4-1327 from Through the Arbor release were cut, colored and shaped using Susan's Garden Specialty Paper and Susan's Deluxe Tool Kit and created using Susan's YouTube videos which can are linked below.
Once I had created all components for my bouquet I arranged the bouquet and attached to lower half of card using Kids Choice Glue leaving room at top for sentiment.
Stampendous S6-218 Fran's Frames set was used to cut out sentiment that I stamped in black on white cardstock added to card top using dimensional tape. Another sentiment stamped with black ink inside of card.
Another card for someone that has gone through the journey and come out the other side. I do hope it inspires you to create your own card. It does my heart good to hopefully put a smile on someone's face for a little while.
Thank you for stopping by and until next time - Happy Creating!
Christine
