Circle full of Chinese Meadow Rue

Hello my crafty friends!

Today I have a card for you that I created using Spellbinders Susan's Garden S3-527 Chinese Mountain Rue and the 3D embossing folder E3D-117 Wildly Beautiful from the release Through The Meadow along with Spellbinders 3D Embossing folder E3D-052 Raindrops.

Card Base is 6" X 6" tent fold card created from purple cardstock.  I then cut white cardstock 5-3/4" square and cut a circle approximately 4" diameter.  Next I embossed it using the Raindrops embossing folder.  Black cardstock was cut 4-1/2 " square and embossed using the Wildly Beautiful 3D Embossing Folder.  Using Bearly Art Glue add a bead of it around the back of the circle then add the black embossed piece.  Clear Double Sided Adhesive was used to attach the white piece to the card front.

Using Spellbinders Susan's Garden Specialty Paper I cut out Chinese Mountain Rue and for the leaves I used watercolor paper.  The flowers and leaves were colored with Olo Alcohol Markers V7.6 and YG8.5 and YG 8.7 for the leaves.  Flowers were shaped using Spellbinders Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit.  Flowers and leaves were added to card front using Kids Choice Glue.  YouTube video for creating the Chinese Meadow Rue can be found here.

I do hope I have inspired you today and that you make your own card - I really liked making the Chinese Mountain Rue.

Thanks for stopping by today and until next time - Happy Creating!

Christine
