Hello my crafty friends! My card today was created using a picture I printed off from Facebook, a Lily of the Valley 3D embossing folder and Spellbinders Susan's Garden Lily of the Valley dies (retired). Card Base is 5" X 7" using 100# white cardstock.  The first mat was from green cardstock cut 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.   Black cardstock 4-1/2" X 6-1/2" was used for embossed layer. I used Lisa Horton's Background Lily of the Valley 3D Embossing Folder LHCEF 190 .  This was adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.  I love Lily of the Valley as you can probably tell.  I loved the vase so I printed 3 copies on photo cardstock.  I fussy cut them out (I actually cut the bottom off in order to make it fit my 5" X 7" card. I adhered the 3 vases together using Kids Choice Glue .  I then used Ultra Thick Clear Embossing Powder to emboss the vase then put immediately in the freez

Hello my crafty friends! Another Shadowbox Card for you this time in a 5" X 7".  I like doing this frame as it is out of 1 piece of paper.  The card is 5" X 7" and the opening for your bouquet is 3" X 5".   My bouquet of Mock Orange S3-496 from Spellbinders Susan's Garden Through the Arbor release along with Berry Branch / Autumn Foliage from Birds & Bees Garden Collection.   The bottle I created using Shrink Plastic which can be found in most craft stores.  Susan did this Shadowbox Frame Card on her Garden Club 2 "Live" February 28, 2024 which can be found here    Paper that I used for frame is P13- Hello Summer.  I absolutely love this paper. Hello my crafty friends! Spring is on it's way so I have created a card with Forget Me Not and Pussy Willows .  I know Pussy Willows actually come and go before we even see the Forget Me Not  but thought they made a nice bouquet.  Spellbinders Susan's Garden Forget Me Not S2-340 from Garden Gate Collection was used and the Pussy Willows I actually designed myself.  You can find a little tutorial for them in a previous post.  The bottle was created from picture I took of a bottle I have and the background paper is one of my pictures printed on cardstock (this was a picture of wallpaper in a back bedroom at the Olson House where the picture "Christina's World" was painted by Andrew Wyeth in 1948.  He painted in a front bedroom of the Olson House) My card is a 5 X 7 card I created from 100# white cardstock.  My design paper was cut 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" and adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .  Woodgrain piece was cut 2" X 4-3'

 

  Hello my crafty friends! It is getting to be Pussy Willow season here in Maine so I thought I would write a little tutorial how I create them with paper and wool roving for my cards.  The picture above shows the real pussy willows on left and ones I created from paper and wool on right. I start with wool roving and clear Dawn detergent (any clear one would do I am sure) I pull off a small piece of roving and put a small drop or detergent on it the roll around in my fingers getting it to shape.  Once I live the shape I twist the bottom of it then set aside to dry.  I continue this process until I have the number I want.  You will have to probably have to play around with size piece of roving you use until you like it.  I very lightly add just a little brown or gray chalk (I used PanPastels) to give it a natural look.   Hello my crafty friends! Today I have created a shadowbox frame card and used the Carnation S4-1325 and Mock Orange S3-496 from Spellbinders Susan's Garden new release Through the Arbor for the bouquet along with Berry Branch S4-1320 Autumn Foliage from Birds & Bees Garden Collection.   Paper is Mintay - Bohemian Wedding MT-BOH-04 .  This card is a bit busier than what I normally do but I liked the paper and the color of the Carnation just matched so well. Susan did a "Live back on April 5, 2023 for making this frame card you can find the video   here  https://www.facebook.com/SusansGardenClub/videos/433190574264552 I added a circle in center of frame for backdrop of the bouquet. For the bouquet I used Spellbinders Susan's Garden Specialty Paper to cut 1 Carnation and 8 Mock Orange Flowers.  The Mock Orange stems/leaves were cut from 140# watercolor paper. I cut the Berry Branch from green cardstock then added Styrofoam balls that were colored with RV69 C
